Rosario Ramos Hernandez

Rosario, a member of the Toonel cooperative, began sewing and weaving as a young girl to help support her mother and five siblings. Rosario’s cooperative joined Mercado Global two years ago after being introduced to the organization by a neighbor.

A mother of two, Rosario is happy that the money she makes from Mercado Global allows her to afford her children’s education. Her eight year old daughter dreams of being a doctor when she grows up.
