Inspired by the artistry of Patzún, the Josefina Pouch utilizes a cross-stitch technique that is traditionally used to embroider symbols from the Mayan Calendar onto huipiles, or traditional garments, of Mayan women.
Using a polished thread, our artisans embroider for two days to produce each pouch. The end result is modern, but ancient; unique as the community where it finds its roots.
Features a zipped opening, leather tassel, Italian full leather back and antique brass zipper.
