From the shores of famous Lake Atitlan, meet the women artisans who make up Mercado Global and witness a way of life that has remained untouched for centuries. Hear their stories of overcoming poverty and creating a new future for their children. Share your experience with these leaders in a cross-cultural exchange far off the beaten trail.
Our Insight Trips consist of five days and four nights of up-close experiences in rural Mayan communities and high-impact mentoring of up-and-coming indigenous women entrepreneurs. Trip participants have the chance to learn about and support Mercado Global's efforts to help indigenous women build their community businesses through business education and market access.
"There are amazing stories of strength and determination."
